Inspect Outisde of Unit

Turn Off unit - Wipe down the outside of the unit with a damp cloth to prevent dust from accumulating

Clean or replace filter

Wash down filter with proper solution

Rinse off and let dry before reinstalling

Clean the Pipes

The pipes are an essential in emitting the cold or heat into your home, and they are the pathways between the outside and inside components of the machine.

Clean the Coil and Condenser

Clean the evaporator coils

Check condnsate lines are not blocked prior rinsing -Light rinse on coil cleaning

Cean condenser outside from outdoor dirt and debris

MAKE SURE THERE IS SPACE AROUND THE UNIT

While ductless air conditioners require less space than your average air conditioning system, they do work best if you give them plenty of unobstructed room to operate

Check for Ice or Snow

When used for heating, ductless air conditioners can collect ice and snow, which can inhibit their ability to run efficiently

Check the outside of your machinery for accumulation
